What Is LSE Dynamic Menu?
LSE Dynamic Menu is a website builder snippet for Odoo 19 that automatically generates a fully responsive, multi-level Bootstrap 5 dropdown navigation menu — built live from your site's own page structure.
The core problem it solves is straightforward: managing website navigation in Odoo traditionally requires manual menu editing every time you add or reorganize pages. LSE Dynamic Menu eliminates that maintenance burden entirely. You drag the snippet onto your page, set the root URL path, and the menu assembles itself from your published child pages — automatically, in real time.
No manual editing. No configuration files. No rebuild required.
Key Capabilities
Zero-configuration deployment. Install the module, open the website editor, drag the LSE Dynamic Menu snippet from the LSE category in the snippet panel, and configure the root path in the options panel. That is the entire setup.
Live menu generation. The module reads directly from website.menu and published website.page records. When you publish a new page or restructure your site, the navigation updates with it.
Bootstrap 5 with one level of sub-menus. Dropdown behavior is native Bootstrap 5, fully compatible with Odoo 19's front-end stack. Sub-menus render cleanly on both desktop and mobile — collapsing to a stacked layout on narrow viewports.
Full platform compatibility. LSE Dynamic Menu supports Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, and on-premise installations.
License-protected. Each installation is validated against the LSE License Server, with a 30-day grace period for evaluation before a license key is required.
Why We Built It
LSE Group Corp. operates the LSE Omni-Channel Marketing Platform across a self-hosted multi-datacenter infrastructure spanning Equinix and Kamatera facilities in Atlanta, Singapore, Milan, and Dallas. Odoo 19 Community serves as our core ERP and CMS backbone.
As we build and maintain complex Odoo-based web properties internally, we develop tooling to reduce operational overhead at scale. LSE Dynamic Menu originated from exactly that context — a real internal need to keep navigation in sync with an actively evolving site structure without introducing manual process steps.
We are now making that tooling available commercially so other Odoo operators can benefit from the same efficiency.
